World Thrombosis Day Honored With Two Major Awards

We are honored and excited to announce that World Thrombosis Day (WTD) has received two major awards: the Gold Circle Award for Overall Excellence from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and a Silver Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

ASAE's Gold Circle Award for Overall Excellence is the organization's highest honor and recognizes association-lead campaigns that display unparalleled creativity and innovation. The announcement was made on June 2 during ASAE's 2015 Marketing, Membership, & Communications Conference in Washington, DC.

Two days later, WTD was presented with the coveted PRSA Silver Anvil Award in the category of Associations/Observances 1-7 Days and an Award of Excellence in the category of Public Service Campaign by Associations. For more than 60 years, the Silver Anvil Award has served as the industry’s most distinguished honor, recognizing the very best in public relations.
